Computing Explorations began as the collaboration of a small group of engineers, educators, and artists who believe that learning is fundamentally a creative process. As our first project, we designed and tested the components of a course in computational thinking called Teaching a Robot How to Dance in which simple rolling robots with novel distance and direction sensors served as the exploratory medium for the constructive learning process.
While the original group has disbanded, Computing Explorations, LLC continues to provide engineering services in software, embedded systems, robotics, and educational technology. The company also engages in new product development. Stay tuned.
